Eyesview Media teamed up with Atlanta Rapper J ARA to create the music video for his soon to be released single “RUMORS”. With a 5 man crew , mini van packed with gear and 2 day shoot, Eyesview was ready to get the job done. Check out the guys and the project in this Behind The Scenes Video. Eyesview had a great time spending a Saturday getting the gang together for the 2010 Orlando, Florida 24 Hour Film Festival.  What’s that? Proof of how much fun we had? Have some behind the scenes footage!  What’s a better way to compliment a polished finished product than by showing how it was done?  And no, we didn’t win any awards for our entry…due to our computer crashing we missed the finish line by mere minutes!  Awards! Bah!  If they gave prizes for having fun – they would have to bar us from competition!

What is the best part about behind the scenes footage? Is it the spontaneous fun that’s captured off camera while work is being accomplished? Is it because it acts as a permanent reminder of a shared experience? Or is seeing what happens on set simply a substitute for being there? Recently, Eyesview was fortunate enough to work with James Caruso on producing his short film, “Life Is But A Dream”. Although, this isn’t James’ first foray into film, (he was Art Director on our award winning short “Helpless”) this is his first time writing, directing and editing – way to be a go-getter James! Clay and Tom from Eyesview were on board to help light the set and act as camera.   We had a great time helping a friend get his creative on, and we think shows in Vlog 11 – Life Is But A Vlog.

When Eyesview Media found the opportunity to create another VCAM for Current TV it jumped at the chance. This time the sponsor was none other than everyone’s favorite chip – SUNCHIPS. With their new 100% compostable bag, Sunchips and Current held a VCAM competition challenging it’s participants to create a 30 second commercial showcasing it’s new environmental product and the power of change. With the task at the hand, Eyesview and Friends set out to create a colorful, creative and clever conception using nature’s very own compostable products mixed with Sunchips distinguishing brand and colors. Shot in one day with a crew of 6 in our own backyard all on the Canon 7 and 5D. When asked the question, “Who are you?” the cool way to answer is – “I’m with the band.” Luckily for Eyesview Media, we’re honorary members of The Tony Lee Thomas Band! In 2009, TLT covered quite a bit of the USA with a tour that, unfortunately did not make it as far south as Florida. The good news? TLT gave us the next best thing to memories – media! The media production business here in Orlando was no stranger to this past year’s economic crunch. Luckily it was not so for Eyesview. We were able to take our business to new heights with the help of our new assistant. Check him out!

The Eyesview team spent an evening this October shooting the green screen portion of a promotional video for Just Samuel. Staged in our home studio, this project relied on pre-production — in this case, a solid script and some well-placed interview questions. Check out this Behind the Scenes clip to get a glimpse into our shoot-day process.

This is behind the scenes footage of our 48 hour film festival project entitled “Helpless.” At the kick-off, our 13 person team, The League of Extraordinary Filmmakers, drew the genre of HORROR. We quickly formulated a plan and began scriptwriting. The next day was a fast paced, intense shoot day with little room for error. Luckily, our team of trained professionals worked in harmony to capture only what was necessary for the film. We called our last shot around 7:3o pm, an hour ahead of schedule.

Shot on location at the Lawton Chiles Leadership Conference at UCF. Omar rolled camera and Clay cut this on the fly to show what students can do in real time to tell their community’s story via an internet video for the whole world to see! Shot entirely on an affordable USB Flip Cam!
