THE PAD: Tradition, Imagination, Insanity

When Moses was instructed by GOD Almighty to notate the Ten Commandments he chose slabs of stone to carve them. When Eyesview thinks of a note-worthy, funny or comical idea it is written on THE PAD, a yellow college ruled notepad. Dating back to February/March (FARCH) of 2009, the eyesview gang has taken the time to scribe the funniest of funny into this 8 and 1/2″ think tank. Ranging from Funny to Hilarious to What the F@#$, Eyesview has taken great pride in their brain babies and someday will turn to the mighty pad to call upon it’s comedic creations to show the world. With 27 pages of Funny completed and a second pad started, the gang plans to keep the tradition strong and “ADD TO THE PAD”. Who knows, maybe we will even publish it in hard cover and hit up the New York Times Bestseller List. The possibilities are endless and so are the ideas yet to come. Below are some of the Best of the best from THE PAD.

- CENTAUR LAWYER – Half Horse / Half Lawyer
- THE DASH TRAY – The Suction Cup Ash Tray For Your Dashboard
- CHILLAXIN – “Life Stressing You to the MAXIN!! – CHILLAXIN”

Where Is John Titor? Video 7

blogheadertitorjohntitorbook

To everyone that has been following us and our Titor saga, we’d like to say thanks! There has been a wealth of feedback from viewers – some of which questions our authenticity and veracity. We are genuine in filming and sharing our first hand Titor experience. There has been so much finger pointing throughout the Titor saga (very little of it in our direction) we did not mean to upset anyone or re-hash a 10 year old story. We have decided to cease posting on www.timetravelinstitute.com and www.anomalies.net, as we do not want to waste any more of anyone’s time (no pun intended). Hopefully we will have more to film and most of you will enjoy our efforts!

Where did the Summer Blockbusters go!

eyeblog1

Ever since i learned how to speak english summer was all about seeing the big blockbusters. I know summer means no school, swimming pools, and staying up way pass my bed time and sleeping in, but when it was friday it was all about the biggest movies coming out. As a kid i couldn’t wait to see Independence day, Jurassic Park, Judgement Day (T2), Dark Knight, and the list goes on and on. I know that we are living through a recession, but i didn’t know that it would effect the summer blockbusters. This year summer was a bust, i wasn’t impress with most of them, from Wolverine to GI Joe. Im not a Star Trek fan however JJ did a good job on it, but it was too long and McG did a nice job on Terminator, but it felt like it moved away from James Cameron vision, and Transformers IMAX was IWACK. However i did go see all these movies, and i did contribute to these companies but they didn’t do their jobs of me going crazy about their movie. I hope that next year will be a better summer. I think why most of these movie are not doing well or getting great reviews is that they are getting to long, Transformers was almost 3 hours long, Star Trek was also almost 3 hours long, and Harry Potter is over 2 and half hours. With the recession hurting our wallets, it shouldn’t hurt our love for making movies and enjoying them.

However check out these trailer on movie that i will putting money down to see.

FLAVOR BOMB!!! – Grilled Chicken With Sautéed Spinach & Baby Portobello Mushrooms

blogheaderflavorbomb

chicken-dish

Hungry? Me too! This being my first bombing mission on your taste buds, here’s the run down…
- when I plate up a tasty meal, I’ll take a few photos and flavor bomb blog it up.
- change/add/subtract/substitute/do whatever you want! I say butter you want to use extra virgin olive oil?! Are you nuts?!
- some items are gimmes (salt, pepper, evo) if you don’t have them in the kitchen I highly recommend you get ‘em. a lil goes a long way!
- REMEMBER! wash your hands and be careful in the kitchen, cuts and burns hurt – safety first!

The chicken and veggies cost around $20…and can be done in waaaaay less than an hour.

Grilled Chicken w/ Sautéed Spinach & Baby Bortobello Mushrooms
serves: 4
prep: 10 min (if that)
cook: 20 min (if that)

4 8oz chicken breasts
salt & pepper (or preference)
olive oil
lemon

2 bags of baby spinach (rinsed)
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic (minced)
salt & pepper (TT)*
red wine vinegar (TT)

24oz baby portobello mushrooms (washed and sliced/quartered)
2 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 cloves garlic (minced)
salt & pepper (TT)
oregano (dried)
heavy whipping cream (4 fl oz)
*(to taste)

Season chicken. Fire up the grill and preheat for 5 minutes. Melt butter and oil in a sauté pan over high heat. Add garlic and mushrooms, season and stir. Adjust grill to high and add that bird to the flame. Be sure to turn the chicken to ensure thorough cooking. Take the mushrooms down to a medium/low flame, stir, and add the heavy cream slowly, stirring occasionally (it should take as long to add the cream as it does to grill/rest the chicken). When the chicken is cooked to 165F (12 – 15 minutes approximately) hit with lemon juice and wrap in foil to rest. In a new pan, melt oil and add garlic, stir and add spinach. As the spinach cooks very quickly, it requires attention. Once sautéed, drain excess water from spinach and season to taste. The mushrooms should be creamy and not soupy, taste and season to taste. Plate. Chow Down. Thank me later.

I like to add BBQ seasoning to the chicken before i grill it and red wine vinegar to the spinach once its been plated. The sauce on the plate is BBQ sauce I “made”…as I feel ’stole’ is too strong of a word – ha! But that’s for another flavor blog!
