blogheaderearshot

The Beatles take a bong rip. This is a great cover album. Those familiar Beatles tunes with a chilled out glaze. Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band was released on April 14, 2009 and is the latest reggae tribute from the Easy Star All-Stars. Other tributes recorded by Easy Star include such albums as Radiodread and Dub side of the Moon.

Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band features guest vocals from an impressive list of reggae, dancehall and dub greats including Steel Pulse, Matisyahu, Michael Rose (Black Uhuru), Luciano, U Roy, Bunny Rugs (Third World), Ranking Roger (English Beat), Sugar Minott, Frankie Paul, Max Romeo and The Mighty Diamonds.

Sit back, put this on and Dub it down.

time-crimes-poster1

The other night we watched this really good spanish time-travel thriller called Time Crimes by director Nacho Vigalondo. It is about a man who accidentally travels through time to find that the only way to stay alive is to commit a crime he doesn’t want to commit. The shots are good and the story is even better so check it out!

Soul Food Short

This test footage was taken way back when we first purchased our HVX200 and when we still had our first generation green screen. It helped us learn the process of keying and using a chroma screen. The footage was recently re-discovered and re-imagined by the mind of Tom Barile. Enjoy!

TMOBILE G1 CURRENT VCAM

portfolioheadervcamtmobile

Eyesview and friends recently flexed a creative muscle with a little project for CURRENT TV’s T-MOBILE VCAM. Current’s user-generated ads or VCAMs basically require independent producers from around the world to write, produce and edit 1-minute commercial spots for worldwide companies looking for original advertising. Producers are given 30 days to complete the spots and upload them to the site to be voted on by Current users and staff. If the sponsoring company chooses to air the spot on Current, the producer makes a cool $2,500. Eyesview’s VCAM for the T-Mobile G1 phone featured our handy new green screen, as well as a little animation magic from Raymond Klecker and artist John Nadeau. Although we didn’t win the cash, our video was very well received in the Current community, scoring 86 votes and over 2,280 views, helping us to reach spot #4 on CURRENT’S PICKS! CHECK OUT THE BEHIND THE SCENES VLOG FOR THE T-MOBILE VCAM. You can keep track of EYESVIEW within the CURRENT community by checking on our USER PROFILE!
