In the timeline of Eyesview’s history, the very first project was REWINDER: SCI LENT FICTION. This project was Eyesview’s first short film and in fact the first time the collective known as Eyesview assembled. Shot as part of the 2005 Orlando 36 hour film festival, REWINDER was conceptualized, shot and edited over the span of exactly 36 hours, using a prop, line of dialogue and genre assigned by the festival. After drawing the short end of the stick with the genre of SILENT FILM and the strange prop of a glowing toy ball, Eyesview ultimately persevered and devised a most clever way to put it all together!

REWINDER: SCI LENT FICTION, is about a young man who stumbles across a strange glowing orb while walking through the woods to later find out that it is actually a TIME MACHINE. Deciding to trick the laws of time,,the boy can now do and un-do anything he wants. But will he go too far?

Using camera tricks and a run-and-gun crew, Eyesview won BEST USE OF PROP in a professional category! To this day Eyesview proudly displays the trophy in the studio, and Rewinder still marks the beginning of the dedication, love and passion that made this company a reality.
