A Dark Place stands out as an interesting Eyesview short for the sole purpose of how it was created. The short,directed by Tom Barile and featuring Raymond Klecker as the main character, follows a man walking through a dark, dream-like reality and being guided by strange voices and visions. Shot on 8mm film and completely unscripted, Tom and Raymond improvised this entire 4-minute video, taking the viewer on a strange, dark and cerebral journey. After two weeks of video and sound editing, Tom and Raymond were able to put all the pieces together to tell their story. This short is a testament to Eyesview’s inner strength of working on-the-fly, and really brings truth to our motto, Imagination Taken Seriously.
